Ross cut his teeth in technology amid the dotcom bubble of the 1990’s racking and cabling systems in London’s ever-expanding data centres; before embarking upon a freelance IT consulting career that has seen him deliver technology, systems and solutions across six of the seven global continents.
With a wealth of experience spanning multiple business sectors including financial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, government and manufacturing, he has advised customers and lead the delivery of Information Technology infrastructure, applications, platforms, policy and process to successful and compliant conclusion.
Ross has held the position of Global Infrastructure Lead, Strategic Consultant and Architect. He enabled the European Central Bank to conceptualise and then realise their Disaster Recovery & Remote Access proposition; was foremost in helping Aviva make significant reduction to the sums held in capital reserves, assisted UBS in the realisation of their goal to remove the ubiquitous PC from every desk in the company, Novartis and Zurich Insurance in global infrastructure rollouts, Walgreens with project design and technical assurance, Lafarge Holcim with public cloud and data centre migration.
After more than twenty years of freelance project consultancy, he joined Standard Chartered Bank five years ago in a global infrastructure and platform compliance role bringing efficiencies, savings and assurance to both global infrastructure and third party vendor relationships.
Ross now joins Pragma from Standard Chartered Bank, where he was Head of Risk & Governance.
